American Standards is a punk infused hardcore band based out of Phoenix, Arizona. Our sound couples the intensity and raw chaos of The Chariot with the grasp ability of Every Time i Die, Gallows and Cancer Bats. This is all ignighted by the socio political unrest of Refused and Rage Against The Machine.

"In 1998 the iconic Swedish hardcore punk band Refused begged for it, in 2011 we finally start to hear the response. New Noise. American hardcore band American Standards has managed to bring a fresh spin on a genre that had become increasingly riddled with cookie cutter breakdowns and empty messages." - Earshot Media on Top40-Charts

Subject: Some great hardcore
This is some very well-produced hardcore/punk rock. I love the groove of "Raised by Wolves" - reminds me of Cancer Bats bit.

Some inventive guitar riffs, great grooves, actual song structures that you can remember. I like.

I recommend this highly.
